Our first engagement session of the new year was beautiful! Lovely couple...lovely locations...beautiful Colorado day (you'd never know that these pictures were taken in February, would you, all you lowlanders?!). And what's more, Brittany and Adam were so into each other, I'm not sure they knew we were there. But we were...taking it all in. And it was beautiful.
We first photographed Elizabeth and Nathan almost exactly a year ago. In the mean time, they decided to add to their numbers (if you know what I mean), and as a result, we were able to capture Elizabeth in all of her "I'm within two weeks of delivery" glory. God provided a splendid snowy day that turned the whole world into a reflector. It may be cold, but hey...makes for great pictures! Thanks for the privilege of allowing us to capture these memories for you, Elizabeth and Nathan...and we can't wait to meet the little guy!
Aisley and Dakota wanted their engagement photo session on Valentine's Day. Yes, that is sweet. We thought so, too, but February in Colorado? Risky. Except that we had one of the nicest winter days anyone could want--a perfect day to capture two beautiful people. Thanks for a fun afternoon, guys!

Many thanks to superhero photographer Hope from Hope Ann Photography for putting on another great workshop! Thanks also to our love birds, Kassy and Isaiah...who were...rock stars. Not captured on camera was Isaiah effortlessly rearranging large tree trunks. Nor Kassy braving (in shorts) the tall grass, lots of bugs, potential snakes and other monsters... all to help us deliver this magic to you.
We've known Nathan for many a year. He is a good man. We love the guy. He married Elizabeth almost exactly two years ago, and now...we love her, too. We've been trying to corner these two love birds into doing a shoot with us forever. Finally, we had to taze them and throw them into the trunk of our car, promising to return them home after the shoot. Well, okay, but it WAS hard to get them to cooperate. Sort of.
Anyways, see why we wanted to photograph them now? You see?! Just beautiful...
Abbey and Chris met at a work conference about higher education. Ever been to a conference? Lots of great speakers and sessions about interesting topics? Yes, well...I think they may have missed all that. While their colleagues were off honing their scholarly skills, Chris and Abbey were well on their way to their MR and MRS degrees.
We had the great pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple in Manitou Springs and at Red Rocks Open Space on a beautiful January day. Best wishes to you two—it was great to meet you!
